    Description

    Up for auction is an 1838 Liberty Seated quarter graded by NGC as AU-50.
    First year of issue - No Drapery variety with a relatively low mintage of 466,000.
    Surfaces are charcoal gray with equal parts of subdued blues and golds, while the reverse
    has more gold than blue.
    For accuracy, the reverse has a light pinscratch from above the Eagle's neck upward towards the A in America.
    Coin has nice originality and shows it well.
    Accurately graded.
