This is a stunning 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe with 276,100 miles on the odometer. This car is finished in its original and extremely rare Lagoon Green Metallic paint with a complementary Tan Sports Seat leather interior (Interior code 99 - Leather to Sample). There are many things that have been done to this car which we will list in the paragraphs below; however, and most important, the top end of the motor was rebuilt about 6 years ago (at approximately 236,000 miles) and she runs and drives very strong.
This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe has been in the possession of the current owner for 12 years and is a well kept and maintained car. The exterior is in very good condition, being rust free and for at least the last 10 years, never being driven in inclement weather. This has the sunroof delete feature which is highly desirable and a high performance exhaust system which sounds aggressive which suits the car well. More robust torsion bars were installed to improve handling as was the front air dam to increase stability at speed. You will notice that the ugly US rear bumper has been replaced with the European option with smaller rubber bumpers and amber lighting.
Over the past 10 years, all service has been performed by qualified mechanics from the Connecticut Porsche Club; the car is tight, the engine is strong, the gearbox is fluid and has no issues and the clutch is in perfect condition. She comes with the original owners manual and books. The tires are in great condition and mounted on real Fuchs, she has cruise control, the rear window wiper, a central locking system and sports seats.
This Carrera with its heritage, rarity and originality is one of the best that you will find available.
