OUR REFURBISHMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS
3R Technology only sells computers that pass our robust refurbishment process and a detailed series of quality control tests. Our hands-on and rigorously managed approach ensures all computers are reliable and will provide years of service
Storage is erased using NIST 800-88 methods. Often a new, or refurbished SSD replaces an older mechanical drive.
The computer is examined for any major cosmetic or internal damage.
Dust is removed from the power supply, processor, fans and throughout the case using compressed air.
All stickers are removed and the case is cleaned
The motherboard is inspected for any faulty capacitors.
Any missing parts are replaced, such as: storage, memory and optical drives.
The system BIOS is reset to default and the computer's boot order is set to start with optical drive.
Laptops tested for key functions: LCD display, storage, keyboard, battery, CMOS Battery, Ethernet, power and drivers to all external ports and drives
Desktops tested for key functions: storage, CMOS Battery, Ethernet, primary video port, power and drivers to all external ports and drives
Windows operating or Apple OS installed. Windows is activated with a new license.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
All items are securely and safely packaged.
We use specially designed air cushions to ship laptops, desktops and monitors to ensure there is no damage during transit.
We ship via UPS Ground or USPS.
We only ship to confirmed U.S. addresses as indicated in PayPal.

Sorry, we don’t ship to Alaska or Hawaii without pre-arrangement.

Batteries: WE DO NOT WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE LAPTOP BATTERIES. Your refurbished machine will contain a used battery. By their nature batteries do not typically have long lives. We test batteries to ensure they hold a charge, but we do not guarantee the duration of that charge. We guarantee the laptop will function utilizing the AC adapter included with your laptop purchase.
NOTE: New batteries can be purchased inexpensively from vendors on sites such as Amazon or eBay.
LOCAL PICKUP
We are located in Seattle, Washington and items can be picked up directly from our facility.
Contact us if you would like to pick up your item at our location in Seattle.
Please do not come to our facility until pickup arrangements have been made.
Local pickups take 1 to 2 days to process. We are closed on the weekends.
