The 3M™full-face 7800S Series Full Face air purifying respirator (APR) is made from Silicone, Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) and has a double-flap face seal, nose cup and 6 adjustable straps (2 overhead straps). Provides a reliable fit for maximum protection. Features a large face shield with scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens and speaking diaphragm for communication.
With the enclosed adapters this unit can be used with powered and supplied air to protect against a variety of gases, vapors and particulates according to NIOSH approvals.
The enclosed adapters also allow the 7800S to be used with North and 3M bayonet filters. This permits the user to use other filter types so there is no interruption of the job.
With the enclosed 40 mm plugs and adapters you can determine the number, type and location of the filters.

The only known defects are on the large mask. The end broke the left bottom strap and I had to apply a field patch and strap attachment button on large mask is broken (no pic).

Use with 3M™ Particle Filters 2000, 2200, 7000, or 5000 Series to help filter certain particulates.
Use with 3M 6000 Series Gas/Vapor Cartridges to help filter a broad range of gases and vapors.
Use with 3M 6000 Series Combination Cartridges to help filter particulates in addition to gases and vapors.
Compatible with 3M™ TR-600 and TR-800 powered air and Dual Airline supplied air systems against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards.
Durable protection the 7800 Series respirator is designed with a durable silicone facepiece, double-flange face seal, and an adjustable, six-strap harness.
