The last two pics show the town, 1st as it was- when this was likely in use- very last- how it is now... a virtually technological marvel- ultra modern metropolis! Lol- I actually think we could post it now and it wouldn’t be strange- AND PROBABLY WOULD BE USED!

This was a very POPULAR and LOVED DESIGN- reproduced A LOT over the years- I know the ORIGINALS were a BLACK HORSE HEAD- which can still be seen mixed with the Rusty Gold patina-
Beautiful BARN-FIND in Union City, MI- ALL ORIGINAL- with a fair amount of the ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT- blended with the ample patina- hitting post used on an outer facade. Still functional, but ring may not AS STRONG as it once was in its prime. Just a GORGEOUS PIECE OF HISTORY-
This is NOT A REPRODUCTION- restoration- or repaint job... partial or full- it is in its NATURAL, UNCOVERED STATE- minus cobwebs & spiders.
