This is the gold standard for information on how to do a video deposition correctly so that it is admissible in court. It is a much trickier thing than you'd think. I had taken the entire CERTIFIED LEGAL VIDEO SPECIALIST course from the National Court Reporters Association and passed the test in 2016 but due to health problems I soon left the industry. Downsizing and moving I came across this textbook and instead of throwing it out am presenting it for sale here on Ebay so someone can improve their livelihood.
The benefit of doing legal videos of all types, known as litigation support, is that this field is practically impervious to recessions. Even if you want to specialize in the higher profit sections of this service such as wrongful death, patent infringement, etc., the law firms you have a relationship with may want you to shoot deps. They appear to be simple to shoot but there's a lot of small requirements that can mess up on legal technicalities that the attorneys will expect you to have known and warned about.
This book does NOT allow you to present yourself as having been certified by the NCRA, rather, it will give you an understanding as to how to do a dep 100% correctly. it's 243 pages.
