Whelping Pool Cover lovingly handmade with soft fleece material.
MEDIUM size - bottom circle measures 36" across, top rim measures 45" across, and the sides are approximately 11" high. Secured with elastic all the way around the circumference to hold the cover in place while mom "digs" and gets things ready.
Dog Faces and Bones on Tan/Cream - Black Bottom
Using this cover protects pups from getting lost beneath a blanket and possibly missing out on a feeding or two.
I also use pool noodles (see photo) underneath as a bumper to protect pups from getting accidentally crushed by mom.
I use puppy pads underneath to absorb moisture. The nice thing about fleece is that liquid will flow through to the pads and keep puppies nice and dry. Machine wash and dry. I rotate 4 of them so I can wash the three dirty ones in one load while using the fourth.
The pool and noodles are not included!
