Vintage 1941 Philco Radio Model 41-83T Now A Bluetooth Speaker

I recently bought a few interesting portable deco radio from a collector. This is a 1941 Philco radio model 41-83T. The portable radio was set up to be plugged in or use a battery. I like the shape with rounded shoulders and square bottom. None of the electronics were working when I bought it and were removed. The two tone cloth alligator covering was in overall good condition after cleaning . Like the contrast of the cream color with the brown & dark piping. I like the swirl pattern on the speaker cover and knobs. After cleaning put a coat of auto vinyl protector for some shine. Now it is looking better.  On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts in addition to a big 4" multi range speaker. Was able to reuse the handle though I think it is a replacement.  Yes this classic is now a real boom box. This thing sounds great.  Installed the on/off/volume switch with the original knob on the right. The other is fixed.  All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life.  This is one of a kind Bluetooth radio that is art deco cool. A real conversation piece that makes a grand statement. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1941 Philco radio converted to Bluetooth speaker measures a small 11" x 10" x 4" .
