    Description

    Vintage Used Hand Forged Iron Horse Shoe to hang over your door for luck!  Shoe measures 6" x 6" and weighs 1 Lb. 4.4 Oz.  It has 3 large cleats forged onto it, so this was a shoe put on for either mud or snow.  It also has numerous clenched nail ends, adds character!
    Superstition says that for Good Luck, you generally hang the open heel end of a horseshoe over your door facing up.
    Think of the horseshoe shape as a cup - if the heel faces upward, the horseshoe fills with good luck, holding it for everyone who lives in the home.  And what could be better than that!
